Position Overview
To support the G. Brint Ryan College of Business by providing academic counseling, career counseling, referrals and degree program advising to undergraduate business majors and prospective business majors in individual and group sessions. This includes involvement in implementation of programs designed to recruit new students, increase student retention and participation in general degree advising activities as needed (preparation of degree plans, evaluation of transcripts, processing graduation applications and public relations).
This position will be based at UNT's regional campus located in Frisco, Texas. UNT at Frisco supports over 20 undergraduate and graduate degrees and more than 3,100 students. This position is a hybrid position officing at the Frisco campus, Denton campus with some remote days.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree and two years' of experience in student affairs, student services, counseling, professional academic advising, or related experience.
