Accounting Intern

Job Summary:

Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an opening for an Accounting Intern, for the Summer 2025, at our Carlisle, PA location. This internship will offer on-the-job experience and will focus on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

* Assist in auditing the company's Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) for quarterly certifications including:

* Review of key internal control activities in Revenue, Inventory, Financial Close, Expenditures, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, and Warranty.
* Review Electronic Audit Evidence (EAE) documentation.
* Assist in reviewing and implementing new corporate financial reporting requirements.
* Assist in providing data as requested by external and internal auditors during interim and year end audits.
* Access to SAP business systems (gain knowledge in SAP and company BPP's, as well as report/data extraction). Trial balance reports, reconciliation lists, accounting document reports.
* Assist in Physical Inventories of Raw Materials, Semi-Finished Goods, and Finished Goods.
* Support daily and month-end accounting duties related to CCM divisions.

Job Requirements:

Applicants must be at least sophomore status, enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited institution, majoring in Accounting or a related field. The ideal candidate will have strong analytic and computer skills, including a strong knowledge of MS Office suite. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are also required. Experience with SAP is a plus.
