Dynamic organization with award winning culture seeking an experienced Accounting Manager. We value collaboration, innovation, and a positive work environment. As an Accounting Manager, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting our growth.
Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions: Record and process general accounting transactions accurately and efficiently.
Reconciliation: Analyze and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Month-End Close: Perform month-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries and maintaining Balance Sheet accounts.
Team Oversight: Oversee the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
Problem-Solving: Respond to accounting and financial inquiries by researching and interpreting data.
Collaboration: Troubleshoot any accounting issues in collaboration with management.
Additional Tasks: Assist with other general accounting activities as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience including Auditing, preferably with exposure to low-income housing/construction and cost certification.
Education: An associate's degree is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with both cash and accrual accounting methods.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability to interpret financial data effectively.
Detail-Oriented: Must be highly detail-oriented and organized.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-Motivated: A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting: This position reports directly to the CEO.
