Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily data entry tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and documents.
- Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasting.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other accounting-related materials.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
