Job Title: Accounts Receivable Accountant - Construction Industry
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant with a strong background in construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling AR, collections, and billing processes, with a specific focus on lien releases and subcontractor invoicing. Key skills include proficiency in Excel and experience or knowledge in project coordination, project administration, or project accounting. Electrical contracting or construction industry experience is preferred, as is familiarity with Textura software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and lien release processes
- Prepare and review subcontractor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with project teams to maintain timely and accurate billing records
- Utilize Excel to manage data and financial reports effectively
- Work closely with project coordinators and administrators to support financial operations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in AR, collections, or billing roles
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience or knowledge of project coordination or project accounting
- Experience in the construction industry
- Preferred: Familiarity with Textura software
