What You Will Contribute:


The Analytical Chemist will be a part of the core team developing advanced electrochemical sensors and is responsible for assisting with sustaining efforts of existing products. Efforts include root cause analysis, formulation support, data analysis and preparing technical documents of various products. The incumbent must be willing to learn and able to work in a multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, qualify and test applications to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Familiarity with electrochemical sensing technologies is desired.

Job Duties:

  • Track, troubleshoot, and identify the root cause for product issues escalated to chemistry/engineering from manufacturing, sales and support teams.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing team on chemistry related matters.
  • Support driving documentation of products including datasheets, manuals, and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and processes.
  • Design/modify text fixtures, data acquisition system etc.

  • Support the design and testing of new products.
  • Work safely and in accordance with company EHS polices.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field required.
  • Master's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Chemistry related position required.

Qualifications:
  • Self-started must be able to work independently with minimum supervision or direction. Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Good problem solving skills, ability to think outside of the box and be able to follow the product development processes.
  • Strong grasp of complex scientific principles spanning from analytical chemistry
  • Excellent documentation, data management and calculation skills.
  • Ability to design scientific experiments to understand and resolve technical challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills, in a team-oriented environment. Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management and ability to work with geographically and culturally diverse team.
