Position: AP Specialist

Duration: Temp to hire

Pay: $34-36/hr
Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices for accuracy.
• Enter invoices into accounting systems and match with purchase orders.
• Prepare and process payments (checks, wire transfers, ACH).
• Maintain vendor records and respond to payment inquiries.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate AP reports, including aging reports, for management.
• Support month-end and year-end closing for AP.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations (W-9s, 1099s).
• Assist with audits by providing required documentation.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and other teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Experience: 3+ years in accounts payable or finance roles.
• Skills:
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Software: Timberline (Sage 300) OR Yardi
