RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking Application Support Engineers. They will work in the STL office 3 days a week.Key Tasks:- Application Support Engineers designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications
- Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems
- Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
- 0 - 2 years of experience
- SNMP Trap experience
- JavaScript
- Linux Admin
- Familiar with AI Ops, Moogsoft, Big Panda, Netcool, network mgt in general, sys ops or UNIX sys ops, and configure apps
- Familiar with MySQL, tomcat, and Apache and/or SQL data sets, data normalization
- Must have the desire to take over and learn, self-motivated in role (we don't have a lot of time to hand hold)
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
