We are looking for an Art Director to start immediately. This is a 100% on site position in Tustin, CA, 6+ months contract position on W2 with possibility to get extended or converted.
This role requires a visionary thinker who can translate complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging visuals that connect with audiences globally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of digital and product visuals, ensuring alignment with the brand's mission.
- Oversee product design elements, from packaging to interactive digital tools, ensuring scientific accuracy and brand consistency.
- Conduct market and audience research to inform design strategies.
- Develop and manage the visual identity and brand standards across all platforms.
- Lead and execute creative design projects, including print, digital, and event visuals.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create compelling, science-driven graphics and user-centric designs.
- Guide junior designers and provide feedback to ensure cohesive, high-quality outputs, fostering a creative and productive design environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends to ensure innovative visual storytelling.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, Product Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in art direction, digital or product design, preferably in a scientific, biotech or tech-based company.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product and digital design skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling software, with a strong portfolio showcasing branding expertise.
- Strong leadership. project management and communication skills.
