Our client is currently seeking a Associate Patient Care Coordinator in Dallas, Texas!

Job Title: Associate Patient Care Coordinator

Job Type: Contract

Location: Dallas, Texas

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Rate: Competitive & Dependent on Experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, and take messages as needed.
• Greet patients as they arrive and manage wait times.
• Complete check-in and check-out tasks, including insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and/or precertification of procedures, and copying required documents.
• Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles, and issue receipts.
• Process walk-in patients and visitors.
• Manage medical records (maintain, file/scan, prepare for schedule).
• Ensure all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, process requests for medical records release, and maintain appropriate logs.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient care coordination or administrative roles.
  
• Competence in using healthcare software systems, such as eClinicalWorks (ECW). (Will train)
