AutoCAD Technician / PM

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• AutoCAD technician experience
• Computer Aided Design, Architecture or Engineering Technology
• Proficient in AutoCAD software and have a strong understanding of engineering principles and construction processes

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience in related fields such as Project Management (preferred)
• Bachelor's OR Associate degree preferred

SKILLS

• Uses AutoCAD software to create and update technical drawings and plans for construction projects.
• Creates and modifies 2D and 3D drawings based on project requirements, sketches, specifications, and ideas and update drawings with any revisions or changes throughout the project.
• Ensure drawings meet quality, technical, and safety standards, and comply with project guidelines.
• Work with senior project managers, engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project objectives and provide technical advice.
• Maintains accurate records, including project documentation and CAD files.
• May be asked to conduct site visits and surveys to collect data and locate grading markers.
• Must be able to apply knowledge of engineering principles and materials to calculate costs and check feasibility
• Knowledge of design and engineering principles
• Highly detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
