Holman is the leading vehicle upfitting and manufacturing company in North America. We design, manufacture, and install vehicle equipment for every kind of fleet. Builds can include shelving and storage, ladder racks, welders, generators, cranes, utility racks, partitions, strobe lights, sirens, etc.

Holman's upfitting division has a great opportunity for an Automotive Assembly Technician to join our team in Bartlett, IL.

  • Shifts: Monday to Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm OR 3:00pm - 11:30pm
  • Pay: $20.50 - $28 per hour, depending on experienc
  • Must be able to provide basic hand and power tools or participate in our tool program
  • Useful skills: tool knowledge, electrical wiring, hydraulics, and the ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

What will you do?

- Primary job function is installing new aftermarket equipment on new vehicles

- Build vehicles according to work instructions and prints

- Safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment

- Test installed parts prior to final inspection

- Verify all line items have been completed on the work order

What are we looking for?

- 1-3 years of previous electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience required

- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

- Ability to understand electrical schematics

- Ability to understand 12V circuits

- Ability to troubleshoot problems

- Some experience with hydraulics preferred

- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions

- Must be able to provide basic tools or participate in our tool program

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $19.02 - $25.68 USD per hour.
