RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a highly successful investment advisor located in Boston, is in search of an AVP, Financial Planning. This company offers a creative and challenging work environment, strong stability, and a competitive compensation plan. The AVP is responsible for preparing and developing annual and long term budgets for both business lines and corporate departments. This position will lead quarterly variance reporting, budget forecasts and reforecasts, and is expected to understand fluctuations and changes in the business, effectively communicating to senior management. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and excels at problem solving and developing efficiencies. Responsibilities:- Lead annual budgeting process for a multitude of business entities and corporate departments
- Prepare and maintain 5-Year budgets for each entity
- Prepare quarterly variance analysis reporting and budget reforecasts
- Prepare cash flow forecasting across corporate entities and investments in order to drive tax planning decisions
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis for senior management
- Analyze and propose areas for improvement (savings, streamlined processes, automation, etc.)
- Lead implementation of FP&A reporting software
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5-10 years of relevant FP&A experience
- Experience with software planning software such as Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar FP&A software
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
