Applicants must be familiar with or willing to learn Skidmore procedures regarding the care of horses, turn outs, wrapping, and other assigned duties. Experience handling horses required.
Duties include but are not limited to handling and grooming horses, wrapping, longeing, turning out, bathing, caring for rehab horses and administering equine first aid. This job is physical and will keep applicant moving throughout shift. Shifts are 5 hours per day, Mondays through Saturdays, 15 - 25 hours per week from December 20, 2024 to January 20, 2025.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must have minimum of 2 years experience handling horses. Applicant must be willing to learn Skidmore procedures of horse husbandry, must be able to work independently and responsibly, and must be willing to work hard as is indicative of the horse industry.
Salary Range: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour commensurate with experience
