Compensation: $20.98 hourly
The Behavioral Health Scheduling Supervisor is part of the person-centered integrated care team and responsible for scheduling and overseeing scheduling of outpatient therapy, outpatient psychiatry, outpatient substance use disorder psychiatry/therapy, substance use disorder residential scheduling, and psychological testing scheduling across all Compass Health Behavioral Health locations. This position directly supervises Behavioral Health Scheduler and Medication Refill Coordinator.
* Full Time Benefit Eligible Position Monday-Friday 7:30a am - 4:30 pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - JOB SPECIFIC
* Ensures adherence to scheduling across Compass Health Behavioral Health locations
* Interview, select and develop behavioral health schedulers
* Supervise and onboard Behavioral Health Scheduler and Medication Refill Coordinator
* Train and provide direction to Behavioral Health Scheduler and Medication Refill Coordinator staff
* Perform regular review and audit of Scheduling Representative and Scheduling Coordinator staff
* Provide Behavioral Health Scheduling Manager and Vice President of Scheduling with operational and staff issues
* Provide effective communication to assigned staff related to process/procedure changes through coordination Behavioral Health Scheduling Manager
* Point of contact for complaints/concerns regarding scheduling across Compass Health Behavioral Health locations
* Monitor and manage monthly phone reports and on an as needed basis
* Ensure scheduling voicemails are returned same business day, if applicable
* Manage schedule for accuracy, cancellations, and back fill
* Maintain and update current information on Behavioral Health Provider schedules
* Attend all required meetings as determined by the Behavioral Scheduling Manager and/or Vice President of Scheduling
* Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
* Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
* Completes performance development/AIM process
* Time card management - manages time sheets
* Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals
• High School/GED required
• Bachelors Degree preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
• 1+ year Supervisory Experience Required
• 1+ years Behavioral Health Scheduling Experience Required
• Knowledge of electronic health records and Microsoft office programs required
