Description
The University of Chicago's Department of Radiology is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will provide screening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound and MRI, and image-guided interventional procedures. Most of the work will be in breast imaging but could include basic radiological interpretations as needed (chest, abdomen or musculoskeletal). These positions are based at the University of Chicago Medicine's (UCM) Northwest Indiana Crown Point facility where the appointees will spend the majority of their time. Travel to other UCM sites may occasionally be required. Other duties may include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and Indiana, 3) be Board certified or eligible in Radiology, 4) have NRC Authorized User status, and 5) have completed fellowship in breast imaging or equivalent experience.
We especially welcome applicants with management and administrative experience.
To be considered, those interested must apply through The University of Chicago's Academic Recruitment job board, which uses Interfolio to accept applications: http://apply.interfolio.com/149701. Applicants must upload a CV including bibliography and cover letter. Review of applications ends when the positions are filled.
