Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Building Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Design Organization! As an intern, you will work alongside our Senior Mechanical Engineers on a variety of industrial mechanical and process piping projects.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Application of various ASME codes and API standards in the design of pressure vessels, process tanks, and process piping systems
• Performing stress analyses of critical piping systems for chemical process plants and liquid hydrocarbon facilities
• Developing specifications for procurement of pumps, compressors, blowers, and industrial ventilation systems

What you will bring to the team:

• Pursuit a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Internship experience considered a plus
• Must possess strong design skills in solid body mechanics, thermal fluid science and dynamics of rotating equipment
• Ability travel and work in the field as needed (may include overnight travel)

Salary Range: $22.00 -$23.00 per hour based on experience.
