Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience:

• Successful candidate should have HEDIS experience including (any combination) of the following: Commercial, Marketplace, Medicare, Medicaid data transformation, analyses, knowledge of supplemental data, audit processes, and applying data quality processes.
• Understanding various processes and data streams which amasses information from a number of data sources into centralized databases.
• Support engine operations and function as lead for a set of contracts. Provides higher level support and schedule management, liaison with VBS teams on requirements.
• Lead process improvement activities.
• Manage documentation, monitoring logs and communication for the enterprise engine team.
• Lead UAT activities.
• Ability of writing and updating DDL(data definition language) to define views, writing and executing SQL queries to evaluate input data for HEDIS software engine, performing data audits and evaluating the results, running HEDIS software engine to produce measure results for annual and monthly reporting.
• Developing and executing more complex data mining analyses skills preferred.
• Experience working with internal customers, team, and software vendors, and IT support team to define business requirements, conduct user acceptance testing and production verification of these changes.
• Expert level SAS, SQL, PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is strongly preferred.
