Job Description:

As a Contingent Resource Consultant, you will leverage your expertise to develop and influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Business Execution. You will consult on strategies and resolve unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering long-term, large-scale solutions that demand vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical thinking. You will provide senior leadership with innovative business execution solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver global strategic FLOD surveillance, monitoring platforms, and tools.
• Establish a robust surveillance framework through the implementation of a trade surveillance platform, system controls, and escalation framework.
• Review market-making and automated client execution activities to assess monitoring requirements.
• Manage relationships with front office, implementation teams, technology teams, and data deliverables for transaction monitoring.
• Provide market integrity training to BAU monitoring teams and business supervisors (e.g., Sales and Trading Desk heads).
• Define requirements and design next-generation surveillance models for first-line use.
• Create procedures and system controls to ensure sustainable controls are documented in line with Wells Fargo's risk management framework.
• Engage with SMEs and managers at all levels across multiple lines of business/support functions, serving as an experienced advisor to leadership.
• Lead team meetings or steering committees to facilitate decision-making and ensure the implementation of recommendations and plans for long-term, sustainable, highly complex, and unique business challenges.
• Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are scalable, global, and cross-organizational.
• Utilize advanced quantitative and data analytical skills, with experience in analytics and database tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python).
• Demonstrate strong collaboration and partnering skills.
• Manage geographically diverse teams, including both domestic and offshore locations.
• Exhibit advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Strong background in CIB Markets with excellent technical skills and a proven track record of delivering platform/application delivery.
• Significant experience delivering trading platforms and controls for large investment banks.
• In-depth experience in regulatory change, including but not limited to trade surveillance and business controls for MAR (Market Abuse Regulation) and MiFID (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid experience in business execution, implementation, and strategic planning, demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Significant experience with trade surveillance monitoring systems, model development, design, and calibration, including a deep understanding of model design and calibration processes.
• Experience working on a trading floor in a trading, business manager, or e-trading analyst capacity.
• Advanced experience in FLOD IT project and product management of large-scale global projects.
• Experience in algo trading or equivalent experience building algo transaction monitoring models.
