RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking multiple Call Center Representatives to assist members and providers with questions and/or complaints related to the Medi-Cal programs for Orange County. This position is onsite in Orange County, CA. The hours are 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday - Friday.Responsibilities:
  • Call Center Representatives provide information regarding eligibility, enrollment, benefits and services to eligible members and providers
  • Complete member and provider inquiries or requests and serves as a resource for other team members
  • Maintain departmental productivity and quality standards
  • Provide administrative support to the team
  • As a Call Center Representative, you will address member and provider inquiries, questions and concerns in all areas including eligibility, enrollment, claims or authorization status, benefit interpretation and referrals/authorizations for medical care
  • Enter accurate and complete documentation into internal application systems regarding all concerns and/or inquiries from the member and provider interaction


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 6 months of experience in a call center capacity required; An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above may also be qualifying
  • Typing speed of 35 words per minute (WPM) required
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 months of Medi-Cal/Medicaid or health services experience


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
