Job Summary:
Provide customer service to all patrons in regards to checking out materials, assistance with their patron accounts, and providing information on circulation and library policies. Provide circulation assistance to Collin College faculty, staff and students as well as citizens of Collin County. Assist with maintenance of data for various library collections and supplement basic library maintenance as needed.Required Qualifications:

Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, climbing and balancing, plus pushing, pulling and lifting. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Frequent physical effort required.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalency certification required. Associate degree from an accredited institution preferred.
One (1) year related experience required. Two (2) years related experience preferred.

Ideal candidates are adaptable, team-oriented, and prepared to adjust hours to meet evolving project or service needs, TRS part-time requirements, and department budget constraints.
