Position Overview: This position supports various lending programs through professional, high-quality client service to internal and external clients. Primary responsibilities include transaction analysis and documentation; systems accounting, reporting and monitoring; portfolio servicing; and overall client service and support. Works closely with internal and external clients as well as third parties throughout all phases of loan/lease cycles including post close servicing, documentation and final exit.

Essential Functions:

  • Establishes, develops and maintains a strong relationship with internal and external clients and third parties. Acts as a liaison between the organization, clients and third parties.
  • Provides exceptional service to all clients and a consistent client experience that aligns with the mission and vision of Compeer.
  • Educates the team, clients and third parties on policies, processes, transactional delivery and servicing.
  • Coordinates and tracks the compilation of documents needed for transactions. Submits information to appropriate team member/department to take further action.
  • Coordinates, reviews and determines documents needed to perfect Compeer's required lien position on short term transactions.
  • Accurately processes receipts, disbursements and maintenance to client accounts.
  • Scans and indexes documents into archival system.
  • Prepares and delivers a variety of legal documents to clients on a timely basis to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Assists financial officers in determining appropriate client products and delivery tools.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • High school diploma or GED; secondary education preferred.
  • Previous client service experience, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Preferred general knowledge of farming operations and agriculture.
  • Preferred general knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem solving and basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong organizational, listening, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and and/or other systems needed to perform functions of the role.
