Job Description
The Cloud Engineering Internship will begin in January and end in August 2025.
What You'll Do & Learn
As a Cloud Engineering intern you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, implement highly available and secure cloud solutions tailored to meet business needs. The person in this role is also responsible for monitoring, testing, troubleshooting and support of cloud systems to ensure reliability, performance and security.
In addition, you will also:
• Work on projects migrating on-premises applications to Cloud based solutions.
• Develop scripting using configuration management tools (i.e. CloudFormation, TerraForm)
• Build secure cloud solutions in public clouds such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• Collaborate with development and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve problems that may exist in cloud-hosted environments.
Qualifications
We are currently looking for highly motivated students pursing a degree in Computer Science or related field. Ideally you will have experience or coursework in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
In addition, we are looking for:
• At least Junior standing, recent graduates may be considered.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher
• Basic understanding of cloud services such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Familiarity with cloud security principles, networking, and database services in a cloud environment.
• Proficiency in 2 or more of the following programming languages: C#, .NET, Python, TerraForm HCL, YAML or similar.
• Familiar with administration of both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to manage administrative tasks; ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with many demands.
This position is not eligible for remote work and would require you to work onsite at our headquarters in Monroe, WI for the duration of your internship.
