Job Title: Project Engineer - Retail Construction

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer with experience in retail construction projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and a proven track record of successfully managing project tasks and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of retail construction projects.
• Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFI) to clarify project details and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities and address any issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of construction experience working for a commercial builder or general contractor.
• Experience in retail construction projects is preferred; other commercial construction experience will be considered.
• Proficiency in submitting and managing RFIs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
