The Contract Analyst II will have an important role in optimizing YETI's contract management activities and processes. This individual will support YETI's Commercial Contracts team within the Legal Department and will support a varied contract portfolio across the entire global business. This position will have an important role in optimizing YETI's performance on delivering high quality contracts to the business. This position will be based in Austin, Texas and will report to the Contracts Manager, with additional supervision and interaction with other commercial attorneys in YETI's Legal Department.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage administration of contract management system and the life cycle of contracts from initiation and negotiation to execution, performance, and renewal/expiration.

  • Support other members of the Legal Commercial team.

  • Act as a technical contracting resource to the business to provide clear, concise, and accurate guidance related to YETI's commercial contracting requirements and process.

  • Manage commercial contracts, including master agreements, statements of work, amendments, NDAs, and related legal documents, with room to grow into drafting, redlining and negotiation of same.

  • Track contract obligations and compliance status.

  • Interface with cross-functional internal clients, and external suppliers and customers.

  • Responsible for end-to-end successful completion of contracts.

  • Continually improve contracting tools (e.g., templates, clause bank, training materials, contract management software).

  • Collect, analyze, and develop reports on applicable contracting data.

  • Identify and elevate issues as needed.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a role focused on commercial contracts

  • Consumer products industry experience preferred

  • In-house experience preferred

  • Experience with a contract life cycle management tool (ContractPod preferred), and other technology tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Demonstrated collaborative and relationship building skills, with an ability to work well within a matrixed organization

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and autonomously

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail, deadlines and communication

  • Demonstrated skill and passion for problem solving and operational excellence

  • Experience running multiple projects at the same time while maintaining priorities and meeting deadline
