Job Title: Customer Service Representative - Healthcare

Job Duties/Description:

  • Handle the creation and management of new patient accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize and manage the scheduling of services for assigned sales representatives, maintaining efficiency and timely appointments.
  • Keep customer files updated and accurate, produce all necessary delivery paperwork.
  • Manage inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient information confidentiality.
  • Communicate empathetically with customers to understand their needs, providing clear and concise information about products, services, and processes.
  • Accurately load all patient information into the working system, generating all necessary documentation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company's products, services, funding sources, and policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of specific requirements for contracted providers.
  • Continuously update knowledge on industry trends and customer service best practices.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience in the industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of call center experience within the healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with insurance rules and regulations is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
