RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Lincoln, RI that is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Data Engineering team.Key Tasks:- Looking at a data pipeline from start to finish - roles are segregated; Tool is UDeploy; Uses Terraform or CDK to get everything ready
- Write all the CDK scripts and check into GitHub
- Use UDeploy - take out of GitHub to prod
- Write or maintain CDK scripts for deployment; This would be for deploying Infrastructure as Code
- Use a lambda function, Glue, SNS notifications, Athena database
- Use CDK infrastructure as code for pipeline deployment
- Set people up to only have read access to Athena, not access to S3
- Just like a database - control which columns they can and cannot see
REQUIREMENTS:
- Skilled in AWS lake formation and able to write CDK scripts to develop the AWS lake formation; Able to utilize these scripts
- Experts in Infrastructure as code, S3, and lambda
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
