Job Summary:
Provide leadership and direction in creating and maintaining a campus environment that supports, reflects, and affirms equity, inclusion and belonging for BIPOC and First Generation students. Serve as director for the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Unity Center in the development and implementation of programs, events, scholarships, and services that support BIPOC and First Gen students on campus. Work in collaboration with students, campus partners, alumni, staff, and faculty, to foster community through intersectional approaches.
Supervision:
This position reports to the Executive Director of Student Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, and is a member of the leadership team in Student Affairs and Campus Life. This position provides direct supervision to the Associate Director and Assistant Director of the BIPOC Unity Center and provides indirect supervision to the Administrative Coordinator assigned to support the Student Equity, Inclusion and Belonging unit.

Master's degree in student affairs, higher education administration, or other related field and a minimum of five years professional experience in student affairs, intercultural affairs, or a related area and:

Nearly all work of the incumbent is carried out within a generally accessible, safe, indoor environment. The incumbent will be required to operate a personal computer and associated equipment as well as other office equipment used in day-to-day operations. The incumbent will be required to attend workshops, conferences and meetings on and off campus and during and after normal business hours.

This position is 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

$77,000-$80,000
