GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Arkansas State University - Beebe, a two-year residential community college associated with the Arkansas State University System, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, promotion eligible, Director and Instructor of Emergency Medical Services program to begin Fall 2024.
The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of the discipline and teach a variety of EMS courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP) Accreditation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree Registered with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and a Licensed Paramedic in Arkansas Instructor Level Certifications in the following areas: American Heart Association Basic Life Support, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Applicant's with an Associate's Degree and currently seeking a Bachelor's Degree will be considered.
