Posting Summary:Working with campus partners and under the direction of the Dean of the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources (RSENR), the Director of RSENR Facilities will be responsible for coordinating facility related activities associated with the RSENR physical facilities, the RSENR managed forests, and the RSENR vehicle pool. The Director will participate in budgeting, conducting needs assessment based on deferred maintenance requirements, and maintenance projects related to our diverse facility portfolio and changing teaching and research needs of RSENR. Serve as the RSENR chief safety and compliance officer to ensure facilities are in line with university, state, and federal standards, and safety measures are being observed by employees. Work with internal and external partners to ensure space and facilities are meeting programmatic needs and RSENR strategic priorities. Facilitate the RSENR vision of minimizing environmental impacts of our built environment.

Bachelor's degree in a related or specialized field and five years' related experience required.Valid driver's license or ability to obtain.Ability to obtain a LEED accreditation.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and crisis management.Effective communication in both a teaching setting and in written form.Strong project management skills.Ability to interact with multiple levels of personnel in an academic setting.Computer skills and knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and related applications.
$75,000 - $85,000
Special Conditions:Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required, Travel to and from worksites required, Background Check required for this position
