We are looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Director responsible for leading our IT operations and strategy across multiple locations in the US, including Boston, Dallas, Carlsbad, and Miami. This senior role is crucial in leading our IT strategy, ensuring robust operations, and driving technological innovation across the U.S. region.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, extensive and proven IT management experience in complex and global organizations, and a strategic mindset to align IT initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead the implementation of IT strategy within the region, driving priorities and delivering systems and applications development. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the IT team. Oversee recruitment and development of IT staff in the US region. Act as an IT business partner and key strategic advisor to the US executive leadership team, providing critical insights and recommendations to drive business success.
  • Project and Application Management: Maintain the local project portfolio and ensure the successful deployment, support, and maintenance of IT applications. Manage IT projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with business needs. Support the ERP team in aligning priorities for the US ERP platform (Oracle) with key stakeholders in Finance and Supply Chain. Align the initiatives, activities and projects for Commercial IT, such as CRM, Omnichannel, E-commerce and B2B applications.
  • IT Infrastructure: support global infrastructure services by ensuring project management and lifecycle standardization implementation in the US region , following the global definition in order to guarantees robust, scalable, and consistent services, enhancing our operations and security.
  • IT Operations: Manage and control vendor and supplier services. Oversee end-user support and ensure proper escalation to Galderma IT support or third parties.. Utilize IT service management across the organization, to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality IT services.
  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate with local market management on corporate IT projects and assist in local implementations. Prepare performance reports for upper management. Advise local market management on IT-related matters to support sustainable growth.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure IT security and compliance with corporate standards, security rules, and IT policies.
  • Finance: Responsible to control US IT budget of approximate 10M USD. Monitor trends and actuals, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Assist in defining local IT budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Training and Guidance: Guide and train management and supervisors on IT topics. Organize and implement training programs for staff across the region. Facilitate the sharing and use of IT best practices.
  • People and team management: Identify the potential of individuals. Offer mentoring and guidance, recognize and reward achievements, and create a high-performance, collaborative team.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role (minimum12 years).
  • Proven experience with applications, infrastructure, ERP, and IT operations
  • Strong background in IT, with significant presence in the Life Sciences industry being a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in Oracle ERP and VEEVA CRM implementation and operations will be a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure, tools, and applications.
  • Demonstrated project and portfolio management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship management, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
  • Experience in regional ownership of IT security activities (training, awareness, policies, assessment, etc.).
