Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of Document Control Specialists.
• Implement document/data management solutions with a primary focus on document control and records management.
• Administer data/document management applications (Aconex, CMS).
• Maintain an accurate file system of all design and construction drawings, RFI's, submittals and other documentation and ensure that the most current revision is maintained and updated on a regular basis.
• Monitor and track internal and external submittals.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure company and contractual Document Management requirements are followed.
• Ensure that pre-established document control requirements are satisfactorily met throughout the duration of the project.
• Maintain Project's meeting minutes.
• Initiate and reply to routine correspondence related to area of responsibility.
• Work with other staff members as needed to develop and improve services.
• Serve as liaison between field personnel and project owner, as needed.
• Compile monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the Document Management department.
• Additional support of Contractor personnel as it relates to the department.
• Responsible for training material and training all personnel accessing the project EDMS system.
Minimum Job Requirements:
• 10+ years' experience in document control/management or equivalent, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Must have experience using Electronic Document Management Systems.
• Major Project/ Heavy Civil construction experience required.
