Then come join our Early Intervention team as a Clinician.

Early Intervention Clinicians understand that children learn from the adults around them. They work with families to create individualized, fun, activities to help children learn and grow. EI Clinicians use their clinical skills to assist families navigating difficult circumstance and managing challenging toddler behaviors. They partner with families to assure play based strategies are consistent with family priorities and values, create treatment plans, assist families to access resources in their community and advocate for their child and themselves.

Who are we?

The Early Intervention Program at Behavioral Health Network serves children from birth to three years old for whom there are developmental concerns. The EI team bring their knowledge, creativity and energy to each individual child and family. We work collaboratively in family homes and the community to help children meet developmental milestones.

Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938. BHN provides comprehensive, outcome-driven behavioral health care. We are dedicated to offering high quality, affordable and culturally appropriate care to people of all ages and income levels in our constituent communities.

What are we looking for in an Early Intervention Clinician ?

  • Social Work: Current licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) by the Massachusetts Registry of Social Work. Or
  • Master's degree in counseling, Clinical, Developmental, or Educational Psychology from an Accredited Institution.
  • Or Current Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions.
  • Must have familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and their families, preferred.
  • Have access to a car to use for work, valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Bilingual/bicultural encouraged to apply.
