Volt is immediately hiring a Sr. Engineering Specialist in Rochester, NY.

As a Sr. Engineering Specialist, you will:

• Responsible for the board level modifications, troubleshooting and testing, repairing of hardware, assembly/disassembly of equipment, and fixturing for tactical radio accessory products and accessories.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of IPC-610, IPC-620, and IPC-7711/7721 (certification preferred).
• PWB level modification and build experience (SMT devices, removal, soldering).
• Fixture design and assembly (basic mechanical skills).
• Measurement of key performance parameters using analyzers, generators, oscilloscopes, and meters.
• Expertise in the evaluation of designs for testability.
• Working knowledge of the fundamentals of In-Circuit Test (ICT), functional board level testing, unit and system level testing, and coverage analysis.

Schedule:

1st Shift

Duration: 12 Months (possible extn.)

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay Rate: $42.00-47.00/ per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
