Horizontal Talent is on the lookout for a skilled ETL Developer to join our client's inclusive and collaborative in Lake Forest. This contract Developer role offers a compelling pay rate for your expertise.

The ETL Developer will design, build, and maintain the SAP data models to accelerate strategic decision-making in the RMDx business. You'll be accountable for deciding which type of model works best for each use case and assessing the overall model and self-service.

To give you an idea of how this ETL Developer role would look and feel, here are some areas you can expect to work in:

• Create source-to-destination data mapping for data engineers to develop pipelines
• Establish the fundamentals for reporting by developing scalable data models to enable self-service reporting, accelerated insights, and improved actionability
• Build and execute data models using SAP data and other sources as needed to report business analytics in Power BI
• Resolve and/or facilitate resolution of problems, including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence
• Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis

The ideal ETL Developer candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or equivalent years of experience along with 4+ years of experience in IT as a Data Engineer/ETL developer. You will also require:

• 4+ years of technical experience with SAP with at 2 years of experience in SAP BI
• SAP data modelling experience
• 4+ years of experience developing ETL pipelines in one or more of the following tools: Azure Data Factory, Azure functions, Data Flow, Event hubs, Event grids, Informatica. 3+ years of experience with Databricks and/or Spark
• An architecture, integration, data governance, analytics, and development background
• Ability to digest, analyze, and think through concepts, from engineering through implementation and support
