Summary of Role:

As a Finance Operations & Analytics Reporting Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and automation of data-driven reporting solutions for our finance function. This role will primarily focus on leveraging analytics to improve financial transparency, efficiency, and decision-making. You will also oversee and manage the successful execution of other finance-related programs within our organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

Finance Operations & Analytics:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated reporting solutions using data analytics tools and methodologies for various finance processes (e.g., RTR, PTP, OTC).
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost reduction strategies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide clear, actionable insights to finance leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure data integration and accuracy for reporting purposes.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices in finance analytics and reporting.

Program Management:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of primarily finance-related programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Define program objectives, scope, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders, with a focus on financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies, prioritizing resources for analytics and reporting initiatives.
  • Identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation measures as necessary, particularly those impacting data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Monitor program progress, track key performance indicators related to financial reporting and automation, and provide regular status updates to executive management and stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Development:
  • Build and lead a team of financial analytics and reporting, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Set clear expectations, delegate responsibilities, and empower team members to achieve program goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance.

Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, including executive sponsors, department heads, and external partners.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, align program objectives, and manage expectations.
  • Communicate program updates, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely decision-making.
  • Act as a point of escalation for reporting-related concerns and facilitate conflict resolution when necessary.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance finance reporting automations, methodologies, and tools.
  • Drive the implementation of best practices and lessons learned across programs.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in program delivery.

Other Responsibilities:
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes (RTR, PTP, OTC) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in project management to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in data analytics or project management (e.g., CPA, CMA, PMP).
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., RPA, Alteryx) to streamline reporting processes.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience in a global organization.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Expected Salary Range
$95,200.00 - $181,000.00
