Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in project-based organizations.
  • Strong collaborative skills with suppliers and internal teams.
  • High level of accountability.
  • Proficient in budgeting and forecasting for projects and supply base.
  • Ability to multitask and work remotely.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
Integrated Equipment Responsibilities:
  • Host weekly meetings with suppliers and project teams to review open issues.
  • Monitor milestone matrices and timelines to ensure design and build milestones are met.
  • Coordinate timely delivery of free issue materials to suppliers.
  • Schedule periodic site visits to check progress and review equipment.
  • Collect and submit shipping paperwork to SharePoint for receipt.
Outsource Material Responsibilities:
  • Review in-process materials to ensure timely delivery.
  • Proactively manage upcoming workloads with suppliers and provide performance feedback to purchasing.
  • Coordinate timely delivery of free issue materials to suppliers.
  • Address engineering issues such as missing or incorrect dimensions, material specs, and weld specs.
  • Schedule periodic site visits to check progress and review equipment.
  • Collect and submit shipping paperwork to SharePoint for receipt.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Attend customer meetings to provide supplier material status updates.
  • Negotiate improvements in quality, workmanship, and timing with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate sourcing policies and procedures.
  • Participate in supplier evaluation and qualification, and manage supplier-related risks.
  • Assist in resolving systematic supplier-related non-conformities.
  • Prepare reports on supplier performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide training and feedback to suppliers to continuously improve performance.
  • Support internal supplier development and quality teams.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing and/or material management.
  • Ability to execute plans effectively.
  • Commitment to program success.
  • Proficient in reading, interpreting, and communicating prints, specifications, and dimensional tolerances.
  • Strong knowledge of local and global supply bases.
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple commodities.
  • Adequate financial management skills.
  • Clear understanding of project timelines.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
