Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching Spanish courses at varying schedules on multiple campuses, participation in planning and revising curriculum, recruiting and scheduling foreign language adjuncts, evaluating adjunct personnel, academic advising, maintaining office hours, using technology in instruction, and employing a variety of teaching methods.
This position requires a master's degree in Spanish OR a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Spanish and two (2) years of progressively responsible related work/teaching experience.
Experience teaching at the college level and the demonstrated ability to work as a member of an academic support team is preferred. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. The candidate must be willing to teach in-person at multiple locations, develop and teach online courses, and be able to function in a fast-paced environment characterized by continuous changes in information technology.
