We are currently seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to join our team on a full-time, direct basis and assist on multi-disciplinary public & private site development projects while based at our office in Milton, DE . This position will primarily support our Civil and Land Planning department with designing, permitting, and drafting construction plans (for both land development and municipal projects).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare land development documentation from concept to preliminary and final plans utilizing appropriate zoning and subdivision codes.
  • Creation of planting and landscape plans for site development projects.
  • Contribute to the preparation of site plans, grading plans, utility plans, stormwater management reports, erosion and sediment control plans, construction details, and applications with the direction of Landscape Architect or Civil Engineer.
  • Perform site inventory/ data gathering and limited field inspection (as needed).
  • Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.


Basic Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (or a related field of study); recent graduates are encouraged to apply!


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to working on greenfield / land development projects is a plus!
  • Experience contributing to large-scale master planning projects (especially with developing detailed construction plans as well as site / grading / planting plans) is a plus!
  • Proficiency with MS-Office 365 (e.g.: Outlook, Excel, & Word) is expected; exposure to relevant design & CADD software tools (e.g.: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Cloud, LandFX, etc.) is a plus!
  • Working knowledge of modeling programs (e.g.: Sketchup, Lumion, and/or Revit) is a plus!
  • Working knowledge of ArcGIS is a plus!
  • Ability to work in an energetic & challenging environment on a variety of projects.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
