Location: Columbus, OH (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Effectively communicate with colleagues regarding their needs for accommodations, intermittent leaves, non-FMLA leaves of absence and personal leaves. Ensure that colleagues are aware of their responsibilities and of any documentation and notice required to qualify for an accommodation.
• Coordinate, conduct and document interactive process discussions to determine the most appropriate course of action in terms of restrictions and accommodations to ensure compliance with applicable laws including ADA.
• Maintain knowledge of all applicable leave of absence and accommodation laws and regulations including federal FMLA, ADA, state, and local laws.
• Counsel managers and colleagues to foster communication and maintain effective working relationships and a positive work environment.
• Ensure detailed and timely documentation of all employee relation matters using client case management system.
• Apply an understanding and perform all work in compliance with relevant company policies as well as pertinent federal, state, and local laws.
• Function in a high-volume environment where effective prioritization is crucial to success.
• Other duties as projects as requested.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 - 3 years of HR experience including knowledge related to ADA and FMLA.
• Experience supporting a large client base preferred.
