The Implementation Project Manager will be responsible for overall project leadership and support of our client software implementation projects. Responsibilities will include managing the overall schedule and working with resource owners and executive sponsor to ensure the activities are carried out in accordance with established goals/objectives and budget.
Key Activities:
- Creates project schedules based on defined scope and assigned resources
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and making revisions as needed to keep overall project on time and on budget
- Provides communication to ensure all parties are kept up to date on priority tasks and responsibilities as well as any risks/issues identified on the project
- Oversee the accurate preparation and completion of project financials and reporting
- Leads the Client leadership through the Change Management tasks
- Leads project management tasks in both PM Meetings as well as Executive Steering Committee meetings
Baseline Competencies:
- Effectively facilitates project planning meetings
- Keeps the team informed of project status and overall communication
- Resolves and/or escalates issues and risks to the appropriate team members and leadership executive owners in a timely fashion
- Regular written and oral communication
- Develops lasting relationships that foster full participation and support of the overall project schedule and goals/objectives
- Manages to project scope and provides Sales Team leads that could result in additional signed Order Forms
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software implementation project management required
- Enterprise EMR/EHR implementation or equivalent experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels
