Job Description/Functions:

  • To perform routine audits of the manufacturing process by visual inspection. Data collection using IPC-A-610 (current Rev. Level) and company procedures.
  • Inspects visually for obvious defects
  • Performs assigned routine audits on assemblies in process where results are compared with company quality standards. Reports results to supervisor that will review and take necessary action.
  • Removes non-conforming material from process where found
  • Records results on inspection forms and reports number of defects found
  • Posts inspection data

Qualifications Required/Job Specifications Included:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One to three years experience in manufacturing electronics
  • Ability to read components and assembly/mechanical drawings
  • Ability to read and interpret procedures
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions Some lifting required
  • IPC-A-610B. Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes
