Baer is looking for Integrate Master Scheduling (IMS) Lead/PM for a 6-month Federal remote project.

Title: Integrate Master Scheduling (IMS) Lead/PM
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Lead and manage IMS projects, utilizing modular architectures and next-generation integration techniques, to guide teams toward creating high-value solutions with a cloud-first, mobile-first mindset.
• Work with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to create value across multiple projects with varying scopes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and requirements, and communicate those to all stakeholders.
• Assist the Implementation Lead in executing the project plan, while ensuring that all project tasks, milestones, and deadlines are met.
• Utilize Octane, JIRA, and MS Projects to track progress, facilitate agile ceremonies, manage resources, and ensure transparency across the development process.

• Transition from JIRA to Octane for project tracking and execution as the organization moves forward with new tools.

• Manage and lead Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Maintain project schedules in MS Projects, ensuring proper task assignment and resource allocation to meet deadlines and minimize delays.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, escalating when necessary to senior leadership or other stakeholders.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication between teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring transparency and clarity around project timelines, status, and any potential blockers.
• Drive the integration of best practices for application lifecycle management using Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Octane to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

Requirements:

• Experience with Octane, JIRA, and MS Projects for project management, tracking, and Agile practices.
• Strong knowledge of Agile practices, including Scrum and Kanban, and experience leading teams within an Agile framework.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), including managing large-scale projects and leading multiple teams working within a SAFe environment.
• Proven experience in project management and leadership, with a focus on delivering projects that span multiple teams and technical disciplines.
• Strong technical acumen and understanding of modular architectures, integration techniques, and cloud-first approaches in application development.
• Experience assisting implementation leads and helping to manage the transition between tools, particularly from JIRA to Octane.
• Familiarity with Micro Focus ALM Octane for managing the application lifecycle and tracking progress of development efforts.
