What You'll Do:

Clinical Judgment

  • Assess, Plan, Implement, and Evaluate: Deliver high-quality care tailored to specific patient populations. Utilize clinical knowledge to make informed, effective decisions.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Ensure clear, effective communication with patients, families, and team members to foster strong, cooperative relationships and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Delegate and Supervise: Lead by example! Appropriately delegate tasks and supervise team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Integrate Learning: Stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and incorporate them into patient care. Seek validation from colleagues to enhance decision-making.

Systems Thinking
  • Resource Management: Be proactive in utilizing available resources to meet patient needs. Ensure timely completion of tasks and communicate effectively with the team about resource availability.
  • Optimize Unit Performance: Contribute to efforts aimed at improving patient care and resource utilization. Your input will directly influence the quality of care and operational efficiency.

Clinical Inquiry
  • Ongoing Learning: Embrace opportunities to continuously learn and expand your skillset, contributing to the betterment of the team and enhancing patient care.
  • Evidence-Based Practices: Implement and validate best practices grounded in research, actively contributing to clinical education and mentoring colleagues and students.

Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - required Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred Neonatal Resuscitation Certification [NRP] - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification [PALS] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred
