BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Business Analyst V for an opportunity in Charlotte NC

Position Title: IT Business Analyst V

Location: Charlotte NC

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 Months contract

Job Type: [ FULL TIME /CONTRACT /ON-SITE]

Pay Range: $50/hr-$55/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

• Financial Domain
• SQL
• Hadoop, Teradata, Bigdata

Job Description:

• Responsible for business and data analysis in the Global Financial Crimes environment.
• Work effectively in a fully mature agile team.
• Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes.
• Good knowledge of database and querying tools is a nice to have.
• Individual contributor role. Ability to partner with the multiple Technology and business teams to drive the requirements gathering.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in a BA role.
• Strong verbal and Written communication skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
• Creative individual with a track record of being resourceful and adaptive working as a team to address roadblocks and challenges.
• Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills.
• Well versed with agile methodology and processes
• Degree from outstanding university
• Background in enterprise stress testing
• Knowledge and/or experience working within the Teradata, Hadoop or other big data distributed ecosystem
• BS/MS in Computer
