IT Financial Analyst - Entry Level

Salary: $20.00 USD Hourly - $25.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking an entry level IT Financial Analyst

This is a contract position, fully remote.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Analyze results of studies, reports, and analyses.
• Prepare complex financial analysis projects to summarize current and projected financial information.
  
• Research and prepare financial reports.
• Manage and review the preparation, accuracy, and timeliness of monthly financial analysis.
• Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions
• Assist in the preparation and submission of budgets and forecasts.
• Establish, modify, document, and implement methods and control procedures.
• Assist other analysts, consultants, and managers with complex analysis.
• Share technical expertise with others. Recommend process improvements.
• Provide functional advice or training to less experienced financial analysts.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Broad knowledge of the core Finance principles and basic understanding of the corporate accounting process (forecast, invoicing, chargeback, accruals...etc), preferably experience and/or understanding IT
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver own output exercising judgement and discretion consistently
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or related business field.
• 5+ years' experience , accounting and finance experience preferred, some financial management experience required.
• Strong analytical and quantitative data-analysis; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
• Strong to expert skills in data transformation using MS Excel or Access
• Ability to work well both independently and in teams
• Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal
