Job Description

Fully On-site position: 8-5 in the Dallas Tx area!

• Primary Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain secure access to the Company's IT resources and suite of applications and services, ranging from the basic infrastructure in Microsoft 365 to the various SaaS business applications in daily use.

2. Achieve and maintain compliance with the parent company's cybersecurity standards and with the various laws, regulations, and industry standards governing IT infrastructures and practices.

3. Establish and maintain processes, procedures, and guidelines that promote best practices in IT.

4. Manage, nurture and mentor junior personnel for them to grow both personally and professionally.

5. Establish and maintain standards for new office build-out.

• Secondary Responsibilities:

1. Provide end user IT training and technical support for the company.

2. Establish and maintain secure configurations for new computer builds.

3. Provide assistance to lines of business with respect to IT, i.e., collaboration with external parties (clients, business partners, etc.).

4. Reduce IT costs where possible. Consolidate MSPs.

5. Define MSP responsibilities to augment existing internal IT staff.

• Measures of Success :

1. Uptime of IT assets.

2. Cybersecurity scorecard from PE Owner.

3. Timely completion of projects and major tasks.

4. Fulfillment of business requirements with respect to hardware and software solutions.

5. Feedback.

• Degrees of Failure :

1. Excessive or lengthy downtimes for critical applications and infrastructure.

2. Low response times or lengthy resolution times to trouble tickets.

3. Non-compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.

4. None or lack of communication regarding critical situations or issues, i.e., data loss, exposure or breach, etc.
