RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Project Manager in Minneapolis, MN.Key Tasks:- IT Project Manager creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
- Minimizes our exposure and risk on project
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- As an IT Project Manager, you will define, plan and implement the goals and milestones associated with all application development or system projects
- Oversees the analysis, design, execution and support of all assigned projects, including resource planning, team selection, performance appraisals, and budgets
- Formal project management will also entail the usage of a standardized project management methodology to guide all projects in a consistent, organized and reliable manner
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certification PMP, CPM
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
