Basic Job Functions:
The Lead Lab Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to, the oversight and Safety of the quality sample harvesting and testing operations, to include the continuous improvement of our safety culture, shift performance, project coordination, and teammate development, while working as a team with other Quality Department leadership. The Lead Lab Technician will be expected to be a positive problem solver who leads by example and capable of performing multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively communicating with all departments to facilitate collaboration while demonstrating a commitment to fairness, team and individual development, continual improvement, cost awareness and control, and innovation. The Lead Lab Technician must have experience with electronic data entry and be able to obtain information utilizing various computer software including AS400. This position requires the ability to prioritize job tasks and workload assignments for the team. Working rotating shifts, holidays, and overtime as needed will be required, while meeting all physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.
