Job Description

As a Lead Operator in our Temperature Control Bath Circulators (TCB) team, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers find cures for cancer, protect the environment, and ensure food safety. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily standard work audits and participate in team development and leadership training.
  • Listen, support, engage, and encourage employee suggestions and input to achieve excellent results. Respond to employee issues and conduct training and cross-training for team members.
  • Establish rapport in an open, friendly, and accepting way.
  • Drive the implementation of PPI-Lean Enterprise and use PPI Problem Solving methodology to improve all processes by eliminating waste.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and promote a high level of safety awareness among Cell associates.
  • Lead inventory levels and accuracy within the Cell and collect and maintain data and complete required reports.
  • Be responsible for the timely implementation of assigned countermeasures for all key business metrics. Assist in set-ups and changeovers as needed.
  • Work closely with personnel across various departments and functions within the facility.
  • Facilitate daily cell metric reviews and continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide guidance to ensure that products are manufactured with the highest level of quality in a safe and timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of Outlook and Excel
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven record of displayed intensity and work towards results through problem-solving
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot
  • Familiarity with Baan ERP system
